I’m a huge fan of The Wire. Loved it. Top Five best series ever, no doubt. It’s all in the game, yo?

In my professional capacity, I have wondered what the Baltimore PD felt about their portrayal in this landmark series. One of the writers (Ed Burns) was a BPD detective, and the other (David Simon) was a journalist.

Anyway, this video is the Baltimore Police Commissioner cutting loose with his opinions on The Wire, and how it compares to the portrayals of NYPD, LAPD, Miami PD and others in various TV series. Well worth a look.
